What is Troi Dialog Plug-in?
Troi Dialog Plug-in is a very powerful tool for displaying all sorts of dialogs in FileMaker Pro 15. The text of the dialog and of the buttons can be created dynamically by using a calculation.
All from within FileMaker you can:
- show an input dialog to let a user input data in up to 15 fields and up to 4 buttons
- choose these input fields to be any of the following: simple text, password field, popup list or check box
- show a list dialog or very big text dialog
- show temporary flash screens
- show a progress bar for lengthy operations
- add a standard icon or your own custom icons, including transparent PNGs
What is new in version 6.5?
Troi Dialog Plug-in 6.5 has been made compatible with FileMaker 15:
- Further improved the multi-threading behavior of the plug-in when running in FileMaker Pro 15.
- Added description and type-ahead information for all functions of the plug-in. This extra function description will be shown in FileMaker Pro 15 in the Specify Calculation dialog box when you type a function name and also as a text popup in the functions pane on the right. The type-ahead information is used by the auto complete functionality of FileMaker Pro 15.
In addition to this, version 6.5 has several bug fixes and further improvements. We also updated the User Guide.

- control the way users type in data: you can, for example, let them type more than 10 and less than 40 characters

Troi Dialog Plug-in 6.5 works with FileMaker Pro 12, 13, 14 and 15. The plug-in can also be used with runtimes from FileMaker Pro Advanced 12, 13, 14 or 15. The plug-in is available for OS X 10.6.x or higher and for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

Upgrade information
Version 6.5 needs a new registration. For users who bought a license on or after March 11th, 2015 the upgrade is free. We have emailed all eligible customers a new registration string. Contact us if you have not received yours after 20th May 2016.
