FileMaker Pro 11 Compatibility(Page created: March 9th, 2010, updated September 30th, 2011) SummaryRunning plug-ins with FileMaker Pro 11In general all our plug-ins that worked with FileMaker Pro 10 still work with FileMaker Pro 11. We have released a new version of Dialog Plug-in (v5.5.2) which fixes some issues with a few functions. See below for the details on specific plug-in versions. Running plug-ins with FileMaker Pro 11 and Mac OS XFileMaker Pro 11 for Mac OS X is (just like FileMaker Pro 10 ) a Universal Application and can run natively on PowerPC and Intel Macintoshes. However, when FileMaker is launched on Intel Macs, it only loads Universal plug-ins. It does not load PowerPC plug-ins. Therefore all plug-ins need to be Universal plug-ins. Troi has converted its main plug-ins to these Universal versions. The same plug-in architectureThe plug-in architecture has not changed in FileMaker 11. So there is no need to change any function calls when converting to FileMaker 11 (as compared to the change in plug-in architecture introduced in FileMaker Pro 7). Overview of Troi Plug-ins for FileMaker Pro 11Here is an overview of all our plug-ins that are native
and have been tested to work with FileMaker Pro 11 (and also
FileMaker Pro 10 and 9).
* This is the first version that was tested with
FileMaker Pro 11 Other + older plug-insPlease see our FileMaker Pro 10 compatibility page for information on older plug-ins. Other FileMaker Pro compatibility pagesThe web pages with information regarding compatibility of all our plug-ins with other FileMaker versions are still available: |
